But then we had some van issues…

After we got all of that sorted out we were on the road with fellow roadie teams Texas, Mid-Atlantic, and Florida! We finally made it to Las Cruces, New Mexico 6 hours after we said we would… Oops.
However we had the opportunity to meet Thad, who was great! We can not wait to see him again on our way back through.
Check out Thad and his awesome dog:

We were back on the road and after the painful 16 hrs of driving through Texas, we made it to the Sommers house. (Bethany’s family!) We got a really great night of sleep and had a great time. We met Kent, Ian, Ted, and Nick. Plus many more, they were great.
Then we were off to Mobile, AL. Where we met the incredible Alan Waugh. He was amazingly hospitable and took us in at 3:00 in the morning, then showed us around beautiful Mobile. Alan took us to his favorite place in Mobile. Spot of Tea, it was absolutely delicious and Marshall had his first sweet tea experience.
This is Alan, We can not wait to go back to see him!

Then we went to Atlanta, were we stayed with the Riley’s for Two days. Jackie Campbell, Brendon Horgan, and Kelly Cullpepper had home made fajitas with us on the second night. They are absolutely incredible and we can not wait to spend more time with them.
Then we had our first screening which was at Berry College, Hether was amazing! She made us delicious Pumpkin Bread, and took us to Waffle House. (It was Beth’s first time, she loved it of course!)
The next morning we went to Lambert High School, where we met Charlotte, Allie and many more. Then we were able to go to Oxford College at Emory. We met Tabitha, Betty, Katie, Will, and so many others. That school blew our mind! That night we went back with Charlotte’s family and stayed with them. They are amazing and we love their dog too, we wanted to take him on tour.
The next day was Milton High School, we met so many amazing people like Rachel, Bailey, Makaila, and Robert! You can check out more about MHS in the video. We get to see them again soon and we are so excited about that!
Then we made the trip to South Carolina and went to Riverside High School. Ben, Natalie, Amy, Charlene, and Ms. Moore were awesome in so many ways! They were incredibly kind and we instantly became best friends with them!
WE PICKED UP TRAVIS. It’s true he came back to us from northern Uganda, we are so happy to have him back!
Christian Heritage School was Friday, that school blew us away! We walked in and instantly felt at home they were so kind right off the bat and were just excited to have us. Caty had done such an amazing job and people at her school really want to get involved now! Her and her mom were incredible, and we are so glad we get to keep in touch with them.
Covenant College was Friday night, this school is take your breath away. It is so beautiful, and the people are incredibly kind! Rachael, Emily, Sophy, Anne, Andrew, Chris, Hannah, and so many others that we met made us feel so loved. We can not express how grateful we are to have met all of you! We are so excited for your new S4S club!
Sunday was Marietta First United Methodist, this screening was so amazing. We met Sarah, Shane, Jason, Laura, Bryan, and so many others who were awesome. We hung out with them for quite some time, and then went and stayed with the Allred’s who were super incredible and opened their home to us. We can not thank them enough, even though we tried.

Monday… Bring on the rain!!! Parkview was closed which bummed us out a little bit, because we have not gotten to meet Cloe yet! However we will soon, so with tons of roads closed and 19 inches of rain we made the drive to Alpharetta High School. Sara and Olivia were absolutely amazing, it was Olivia’s birthday. We are so thankful for them and what they are doing in their Schools 4 Schools club.
Thank you everyone for being so awesome, you are all so incredible and I wish I could write a novel on you all, for those we haven’t met yet. WE CAN NOT WAIT TO MEET YOU!
Enjoy the Video, Talk to you soon…
