Soo I have never done a straight up blog like this before. I have myspace but that is about as close as I can get. But I made this so my friends and family could follow my progress as I stay on the road with Invisible Children, as well as monitor my own progress.
I have been given the chance to intern for this organization and for which I am very pleased.
August 3rd I will be flying out to San Diego where I will move into the Roadie house with tons of other interns. I have already talked to several of them! I'm soo excited I got my new bros, Stephen and Josiah, and some pretty sweet ladies I have talked to like Lauranne, Jes, and Hoops.(haha jk) Sweet Tea is going to reign in Cali!!!! I'm super pumped to share this experience with them.

Well I am going on the road, showing the current Invisible Children movie, as well as talking to and answering questions from all the people who see it. So while I am in San Diego training and setting up for this tour I will get a chance to work at the IC office. Then its van city!! I'm really freaking stoked...
Until then! I will be raising support because this is an unpaid internship. I need my friends and family to chip in if they can to help me do this! If you have no money. Prayer and emotional support is seriously just as important!!! Let me know your praying for me. It fills the heart with gladness!

ReplyDeleteKOOLZ, blogs are usually super hard to keep going. But I think you will overcome the usual hurtels like lack of material and motivation.
I look forward to reading what your posting here.
Oh and just a thought. Not sure what you need/want for the summer but I know many people (myself included) might like to send "care packages" or w/e instead of or in addition to $$.
So perhaps you could let your "public" know of some things that could be included in such a package?? That'd be great.
